procedures: • Companies House - Links with Companies House help identify new businesses • Phone-check - All records on the DBS site based file are verified by running the file against Phone-check. • Goneaways - All goneaways are refunded in full, datacaptured and suppressed from the mailing file. • Autodial - All records are run through the autodial programme to identify any dead lines. All dead lines are then checked back against Phone-check to identify whether they have moved or ceased trading. • Telemarketing - To fulfil specific requirements a broad range of data is also telemarketed on an ongoing basis. • Desk research - This includes the suppression of companies that have been listed as no longer trading. |
