To ensure the quality of the data it is subjected to the following processes and procedures: • Companies House - Links with Companies House help identify new businesses • Phonebase - All records on the DBS site based file are verified by running the file against phonebase. • Goneaways - All goneaways are refunded in full, datacaptured and suppressed from the mailing file. • Autodial - All records are run through the autodial program to identify any dead lines. All dead lines are then checked back against phonebase to identify whether they have moved or ceased trading. • Telemarketing - To fulfil specific requirements a broad range of data is also telemarketed on an ongoing basis. • Desk research - This includes the suppression of companies that have been listed as no longer trading.
